Emotions

By abstracting the core features in human faces for the emotions described by Ekman, et al., a single-eyed 2D avatar was designed that only moves the upper and lower eyelids.

A single-eyed spherical robot was developed to study how emotion-like feedback using movement affects the training interaction of non-expert users.

My research topic

Project done in collaboration with Toyoda Gosei to research the effects of different interior designs on the feeling of excitement in autonomous cars.
